Our deep condolences go out to Larry on the passing of Pat. We knew Larry and Pat many years ago. Pat will be remembered as a deeply spiritual person but one with a terrific sense of humor and a zest for life. Sending white light and love.

Larry and Pat have shared our artistic souls and talents and have been frequent guests in our home. Knowledge and conversation were our hallmarks. We will miss Pat and are grateful for the body of work carrying her message.

I only knew Pat for a few years, but she quickly made her way into my heart, and we became fast friends! Perhaps our shared birthday had something to do with that!? ; ) She exhibited classic Leo qualities...she was warm, charming, funny, confident, determined and generous.
Pat's strength and positive attitude always amazed me, given the health issues she endured. She had a great sense of humor and strong will to live, and she put up a good fight right to the end. I will miss our long conversations, and will always wish I could have done more to help her...
Rest in peace, Pat. Sincerest thanks for your friendship and generosity.

Pat was my friend, fellow artist/printmaker, and an inspirational colleague who just happened to live 2 blocks from my house. We worked closely together when she was on on the board at The Print Council of New Jersey. (Frontline Arts)
We published and Printed the Newsletter and class listings for the center when digital publishing was just beginning. My most vivid memory of Pat was visiting her in her studio and seeing the giant printing press in her studio. She was a ball of energy, moving around her cramped studio space like a cat, making paper in her yard, printing and showing me all kinds of work she was doing. She will be missed.

In December 2022, I organized a photo session with Pat, surrounded by her art. She was a natural model, posing with a regal poise and confidence. These three images are some of my favorites. "Sixty Years Went By," the photograph of Pat sitting near her portrait as a young woman in the B&W version, was exhibited in Pleiades Gallery, Chelsea, NYC, and the version in color was exhibited in Hamilton Street Gallery, Bound Brook, NJ in 2022. Both generated considerable attention and positive remarks.

Pat was a force of nature, her strong personality and constant stream of conversation announcing her presence and taking over the gallery. I enjoyed working with her to organize a group show and was quite impressed by her talent in that regard. That job requires “seeing” each artist’s piece and setting each among neighbor works in a way that allows each to make its own statement. Not an easy task and not a skill that every artist and art lover has. But Pat certainly did!
So there was a lot of moving work around, discussing the process and so, so very many words coming out of her mouth; much more verbiage than I could cope with. As a much quieter person I finally said, “Pat, you talk so much I can’t hear you!” She totally understood and we enjoyed finishing the layout of the show.
Rest in peace Pat FeeneyMurrell,

Remembering Pat, it's hard to believe that beneath her physically frail frame was a spirit that burned brighter and stronger than many I've met. Introduced over two decades ago, our bond deepened during the onset of Covid. Those weekly grocery visits turned into opportunities for long chats, unveiling the strong-willed fighter she truly was. The resilience she displayed, especially when her workshop was devastated by Ida, was nothing short of inspiring. With the unwavering support of her friend Mariana, Pat managed to save many of her cherished creations. In my heart, she's a testament to the idea that strength isn't just physical, but a force of character. We will miss her deeply.

My friend Pat Feeney Murrell was a feisty Irish firecracker, a great artist, and outstanding woman ahead of her time in many ways. I’ll miss our phone conversations that often started at 10 pm and ended around 2 am; she had her way with words.
Pat, you spent your life on this earth well. I’m so glad I knew you; you enriched my life and I’m grateful. RIP dear friend.
Love, Marianna
