Obituary of ALEXANDER DESHOW

Alexander Deshow entered eternal rest on April 4, 2014 at Somerset Medical Center. He was born in Kiev, Ukraine on October 16, 1929. He spent his early years in war-torn Germany before immigrating to the United States in the early 1950's. He served in the Korean War and settled in Piscataway Township in 1964 where he was a resident for the next 50 years and lived his American dream. He retired from Western Electric in the 80's and spent his days doing what he loved; collecting stamps and bargain shopping.He was predeceased by his father, Alexander Shuldeshow and is mother, Zinaida Shuldeshow. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Nina Deshow of Piscataway, his brother Valentin Shuldeshow of Ocala, Florida, his daughters Natalie Deshow and Rita Contessa and her husband Frank, both of Piscataway and his grandchildren, Kelly Contessa of Los Angeles, California and Rocco and Sarah Contessa of Piscataway.
