Lakewood - Florence Kusalba, 93, died Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick.
Born in Newark, Florence resided in Roselle, Clark and settled to South Plainfield in the 1960's. While residing in South Plainfield, Florence and her late husband, Michael "Micky" Kusalba were involved communicants of Our Lady of Czestochowa. They participated in the yearly Feast of St. Anthony and Florence was a member of the Rosary Society.
She relocated to Lakewood, NJ and enjoyed shopping, gardening and cooking and baking traditional Polish foods.
Predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Michael, surviving is her sister, Helen Voss of Brick, NJ and two, nieces Janet Voss and Robin Pugliese and husband Joseph.
Funeral services will begin on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 9AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, a funeral mass will follow in Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church at 10AM.
Interment will follow in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
Visitation will be held on Sunday August 13, 2017 from 2-4PM in the funeral home.
