Jean Popik, 88, died on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Overlook Hospital in Summit.
Born in Plainfied, Jean resided in South Plainfield prior to settling to Watchung.
Upon marriage, Jean served her family as a homemaker and was active in various community organizations and events. She was also a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church in South Plainfield.
Predeceased by her husband Harry, surviving are her two children, Jeffrey Popik of South Plainfield and Kathy Schuhlein and her husband Bill of Boca Raton, Fl. and as well as her two grandchildren, Nick and Sarah Schuhlein
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 9:30AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:30AM funeral mass at Our Lady
of Czestochowa RC Church, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Entombment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum, South Plainfield, NJ.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 6-9pm in the funeral home.
