Helen Gonda, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 11, 2016, at home, surrounded by loving family and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 22, 2016, at our Lady of Mt. Virgin Church, 600 Harris Avenue, Middlesex, NJ. Commital will be private.
Born in Gyor, Hungary, Helen came to the United States in 1957, settling in New York City, and later moving to Middlesex in 1972. Helen was a research scientist for E.R. Squibb in New Brunswick before retiring in 1992.
She enjoyed keeping up with new technologies, traveling and spending time in her native Hungary with her husband George and family. She was a devoted friend to many who will be greatly missed by those she touched. She was predeceased by her husband George, a brother Mikey and a sister Edith.
She is survived by a sister, Eva Telbisz in Hungary.
