Edison -Maria "Marie" Gazzara, 81, died on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at home.
Born and raised in Germany, Marie came to the United States in 1953 and resided in Queens, NY before settling to Edison in 1969.
Mrs. Gazzara is survived by her husband of 57 years Paul, her daughter Anita Belek and her husband Semih of Matawan, her son Vincent Gazzara and his wife Diane of South Plainfield, her grandchildren; Justin and Vincent Gazzara and Stephen and Jacqueline Dvorak and her great grandchild; Logan Gazzara. Also surviving is a brother in Germany.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9pm in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Cremation services are private.
