Tom attended St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. He was a proud member of the class of 1968 and maintained a close friendship with many of his classmates. He was retired as President of AFP Transformers located in Edison, NJ. In earlier days, Tom took great joy in spending time with his children, coaching sports and attending athletic events. He was a passionate golfer, an avid reader and enjoyed the beach. Later in his life, Tom became a big fan of Ohio State football and enjoyed trips with his children to attend games. Predeceased by his parents and brother Robert in 2002, Tom leaves behind his loving wife Carol (Purbrick) Castle, his cherished children; Lori of Westfield, Scott of Las Vegas, NV, Sean and his wife Sandy of New Providence, and Katie of Columbus, OH, devoted siblings; James, Michael, Gerard and Patrick and many extended family and friends.
