Obituary of Anne Hanas

Piscataway- Anne Hanas, 93, died on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in the Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born and raised in Newark, Anne resided in Linden for many years prior to relocating to Piscataway in 1971. An avid pianist, Anne started playing at an early age and excelled at the instrument. She played as a concert pianist and later taught piano out of her home while living in Linden. She is predeceased by a son Russell Hanas. Surviving are her husband Julius; daughters, Patricia Mincarelli of Piscataway and Joanne Tomacheck of South Plainfield; son, Robert and his wife Janice of Edison; grandchildren, Anthony Tomacheck, Lisa Kavka, Jennifer Lombardi and Jessica Trask and great grandchildren, Elio, Nico, Oliver and Demi. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 9:15AM in the South Plainfield Funeral Home 2456 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10am funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 4-8pm in the funeral home.
