Obituary of Jean M. Hildebrandt

South Plainfield - Jean M. Hildebrandt, 68, died peacefully in her home on Tuesday May 20, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Plainfield, NJ to the late Jerry and Jennie Amiano, She was a 1964 graduate of North Plainfield High School. Jean resided in South Plainfield since 1970. Jean was a loving wife and mother in every sense. She surrounded herself with family and friends and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren who she adored and loved. Surviving are her beloved husband, Rudy, two daughters; Janine Hildebrandt and Regina Zultowski and her husband Steve, sister, Rosemarie Santacross all of South Plainfield and a brother, Louis Amiano of Tabernacle, NJ. Also surviving are her three dear grandchildren, Nicole, Lauren and Steven as well as a number of extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield NJ 07080. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 23, 2014 in Sacred Heart RC Church, 149 South Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield NJ at 10 AM. Family and friends may join together on Friday beginning at 9 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow mass in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
