Obituary of Alice M. Goffreda

South Plainfield - Alice M. Goffreda, 87, died on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at home. Born and raised in the Ozone Park section of Brooklyn, Anna settled to South Plainfield in 1955 where she raised her family. Prior to rasing her children, Alice was employed by City Service, a financial company located on Wall St. in Manhattan. She is survived by her husband of nearly 61 years, Joseph F.; three sons, Stephen and his wife Margaret of West Virginia, Kenneth and Joseph both of Millstone; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren with her sixth great grandchild expected later this year. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 10:30AM in the McCriksin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 11:30AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield, NJ Interment will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 6-9PM in the funeral home.
