Obituary of Christa L. Weber

South Plainfield - Christa Weber, 89, died on Friday, October 2, 2015 at home. Born and raised in Germany, Christa immigrated to the United States in the early 1950's. She was a resident of South Plainfield for nearly 30 years and would often traveled back and forth to Germany during that time. Christa worked alongside her late husband Hans, at their Maytag Appliance Repair Shop for many years until his passing in 1993. She enjoyed shopping, crafts and crocheting and was also fond of various animals particularly dogs and passionate WWE Wrestling fan. Surviving are her daughters, Marion Weber of South Plainfield and Angelika Yannuzzi of North Carolina; son, Frank Nowok of Pennsylvania; brother, Gunther Branstner of Germany as well as a step brother also of Germany, 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday, October 9, 2016 from 6-9pm in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
