Obituary of Estelle Kolodziej

Estelle Kolodziej South Plainfield, NJ - Estelle (Wnoroski) Kolodziej, 80, died suddenly at her residence on Thursday, November 17, 2011. Born and raised in Newark, Estelle has lived in South Plainfield since 1966. Retiring in 1997, Estelle worked for Napa Auto Parts where she assisted in the warehouse. She was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church and was active with the South Plainfield Senior Citizens, especially enjoying their trips to Atlantic City. She is predeceased by her husband John J. Kolodziej who died June 22, 1993 and by seven siblings. Estelle leaves behind her children and their spouses; John and Cheryl of Branchburg, Michael and Kathy of Bound Brook and Barbara Degen and Eric of Long Valley. She will be missed by her seven grandchildren and her four siblings; Josephine Allocco and Vinnie, Peter and Stanley Wnoroski. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011 beginning 9:15 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. Burial will take place at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield, NJ. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 2-5 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM until the service time.
