South Plainfield - Biaggio Puzzelento, 87, passed away on Monday December 30, 2013 with his family at his side in South Plainfield. Born and raised in Plainfield, Biaggio had resided in East Orange prior to settling to South Plainfield in 1972. He is the former Owner and Operator of Ben's Disposal, a Central Jersey Carting Company which he ran until his retirement at age 65. Biaggio loved to dance and will be fondly remembered for his love of dance, spending time with his family and as a member of the Plainfield Italian American Club. He is predeceased by his parents, Andre and Maria and siblings, Grace Renda and Michael Pozalante. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Angela ( Roselli ), three daughters; Angela Puzzelento, Linda Smalley and her husband, Gary, and Donna Alfano. Son in law, Frank Alfano, sister, Lucy DellaVentura and brother, Leonard Pozzelanti Also surviving are four grandchildren; Joseph Smalley, Amanda Smalley, Francis Biaggio Alfano and Lisa Alfano and many extend family and friend. Funeral services will begin at 4 PM Saturday, January 4, 2014 in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Family and friends may attend the visitation hours on Saturday from 1PM until the time of the service. Cremation is private.
