Obituary of Frances M. Lutes

Frances M. Lutes Edison, NJ - Frances M. (Hansen) Lutes, 91, passed away suddenly at home on Monday, October 24, 2011. Born and raised in Linden, she also resided in Elizabeth and Pine Beach before moving to Edison in 1994. She was a secretary at Elastic Stop Nut in Union, where she met her husband, then spent many years as a homemaker caring for her family. Later in life, she worked as a clerk typist for eight years in the Union County Clerk's Office in Elizabeth before retiring in 1980. Frances was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in South Plainfield. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Calvin, her brother, Christian Hansen, and her sister, Christine Eilbacher. Frances is survived by two daughters, Linda McGrath (Peter) of South Plainfield, and Karen Lutes of Edison, with whom she resided. She is also survived by three grandchildren Shannon Colucci (Christopher), Lauren Dowd (Brendan) and Erica Weber (Gregory) and five great-grandchildren Chelsey, Grace and Sophia Colucci and Timothy and Abigayle Weber.
