My heart and prayers go out to Dot and all of John's family. It was a true privilege to know and work with John for 14 years. John was a man with so much knowledge about so many different things. I will never forget all the stories he shared about the ARMY, his wife and family, his gun collection, and all the things he's built over the years. The 40 year age difference between him and me meant nothing to either of us. We've gone to dinner with Dot, and he was at my bachelor party back in 2002. I can't resist sharing this story at my bachelor party...We went to Atlantic City and gambled for hours. That was it. On the way home in the rented van it was silent as we were all tired. The silence was broken by John's voice saying, "What? You young guys don't go to Go-Go bars for bachelor parties anymore?" We all laughed as he seemed a bit disappointed at the time. He was young at heart and a true gentleman. I will miss him dearly as a friend, but never forget him. Every tandem truck that passes will forever remind me of this wonderful man. May Dot and his family be comforted knowing that God will raise him up into his kingdom. God Bless John forever.

I knew John thru his work with my cousin Bob Stilo. John was one of the nicest guys I knew. When I'd see him at mass at Sacred Heart there always was,a hello,a smile and a handshake.May he rest in peace.I'm sure God has a special place for him in heaven.
