Obituary of Judith R. Underwood

Judith Underwood Glen Gardner - Judith Underwood, 67, died on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in the Bronx, Judith resided in West Orange and Scotch Plains before settling to Glen Gardner. As a volunteer, Judith enjoyed offering her time to the Hunterdon Medical Center's cancer unit. Judith was a true animal lover, could also be found gardening and planting as well as cheering on the New York Yankees, as a long time die hard fan. Her biggest passion was for her grandchildren, for whom she lived for. She is predeceased by her parents; Bernard and Edna Berkowitz and a brother; Robert. Surviving are two daughters; Gynine Underwood of South Plainfield and Stefanie Tavaglione and her husband, Chris of Pottersville and three grandsons; Trey, Jack and Alex. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 7:30 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be from 4-8PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judith's memory to the St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center, P.O.
