South Plainfield - Irene C. Fallheier, 77, died Friday, May 9, 2014 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.
Born in Magdeburg, Germany, Irene migrated to the United States in the 1950's, worked for numerous companies including Viking Penguin Book Publishing Company as Manager of the bookkeeping department. Later, she started her own business selling German imports.
Irene was active with the German club, Deutscher Club of Clark.
Irene is survived by her husband of thirty six years, Edward of South Plainfield and her son, Michael Doll and his wife Katharina of Germany.
Funeral services are private and under the direction of the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals.
