Piscataway - Dieter Junge, 74, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2014 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville
Born in Hamburg Germany, Dieter came to the United States at the age of 18 and settled to South Plainfield in 1958.
A master carpenter by trade, Dieter had been employed by a few well known custom builders and he also worked as a self employed carpenter for his entire life before hanging up his tool.
He is predeceased by his mother, Margerita Junge & his father who died during WWII in 1943.
Surviving are two sons; Darren & his wife, Bettyann Junge of South Plainfield, Norman Junge & Pamela Coote of Piscataway, two granddaughters Allison DeJohn and Katie Vaughn as well as two great granddaughters; Kaylee & Isabella DeJohn.
Family and friends may gather together for visitation on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 3PM until 6PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Cremation will take place privately.
