Obituary of Gloria C. Setnicky

Gloria Clearwater Setnicky, 89 of Dunellen passed away Thursday November 6th at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Edward and sister Jean. Gloria was a proud member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Dunellen since 1960 and joyfully sang in their choir for many years. She was a switch board operator at Bambergers in Plainfield then worked for NJ Bell for many years before retiring in 1991. Gloria had many hobbies; she enjoyed traveling within the USA, knitting and crocheting, reading, listening to music and shopping! She had a deep love for animals and always the patriot she loved all things red white and blue. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family especially at her favorite time of year Christmas. Gloria will be lovingly remembered by her family; Brother Jerry GaMarsh, Sister Georgia Pornovetz, Daughter Beverly and husband Emil, Son Ed and companion Lee Anne, Daughter Linda, Daughter Gloria, Daughter Georgia and husband Keith, Son Steven and wife Gail. Grandchildren; Erinn, Mac, Glory, Sarah, Amber, Robyn, Steven, Edward, James and Tyler as well as 13 Great Grandchildren. Her dog Holly will also miss her very much. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 12pm in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080 Entombment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum, North Brunswick. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 2-6pm in the funeral home. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the excellent, compassionate care provided by the MDs, Nurses, NPs, CCTs and staff at RWJUH as well as VNA/Hospice of Central Jersey. In lieu of flowers contributions in Gloria's name can be made to a Humane Society of your choice.
