South Plainfield - Virginia (DeLago) Toro, 76, died Saturday November 29, 2014 at AristaCare at Cedar Oaks in South Plainfield.
Born in Plainfield, Virginia resided in Dunellen and Scotch Plains before settling to South Plainfield over fifty years ago.
A communicant of Sacred Heart in South Plainfield, Virginia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting and needle point.
Surviving are her husband of fifty six years, Henry, three sons, Henry of South Plainfield, Steve of Manville and Wayne of Lakeland, FL and sister, Joanne Burnett of Piscataway. She will also be missed by her four grandchildren, Theresa Gigliotti and Steve, Chris and Michael Toro and four great grandchildren, Dominic, Juliana and Else Gigliotti and Jenna Toro.
Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 11AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080.
Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
Family and friends may attend visitation on Tuesday from 7-9PM in the funeral home.
