I was just out of the Navy and dating Dorothy's daughter Judy, when I met her. I was recovering from an injury I received in Cuba during the missal crisses, and she kept giving me encouragement that I was going to be alright, if I just kept trying and not to be discouraged. I know my recovery would have taken much longer if not for her carring, and making me feel like one of her family. The world is a much better place for having Dorothy Meire in it, and her family can be very proud of her. I know I am Ken
