Rudolph A. "Rudy" Hamblin
South Plainfield - Rudolph "Rudy" Hamblin, 78, died on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at AristiCare at Cedar Oaks Care Center in South Plainfield.
Born in Barbados, he moved to the United States in 1950 and had resided in Edison & Perth Amboy before settling to South Plainfield in 1991.
Rudy had been employed as a Charter Bus Driver for Oak Tree Bus Service in Edison before retiring in 2006.
Surviving are his wife Lavern Hamblin, and his 5 children, Sandra Lewis, Sylvester Hamblin, Cynthia Lewis, Tamika Toppin and Adylia Toppin.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
