Obituary of Marilyn S. Hawkins

Marilyn J. Hawkins Pittstown - Marilyn J. Hawkins (nee Snyder), 85, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at the Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown. Born and raised in Plainfield, Marilyn lived in South Plainfield for more than 38 years and has resided in Frenchtown prior to entering the care center. She worked as a duty-aide at John E. Riley School in South Plainfield for 32 years and was a member of the Cherry Dale Garden Club for over 42 years. Predeceased by her husband, John A. who died in 2002, she is survived by 2 sons; John and his wife Kathy of Stockton and Jay of Pittstown, a brother; Donn Snyder and his wife Mary of North Carolina and 4 grandchildren, John, David, Ashley and Steven and a great granddaughter, Kelsey. Funeral services and committal prayers are being held privately on Wednesday under the direction of the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield.
