Obituary of Lorraine Lipyanek

Fords- Lorraine ( Kluczek ) Lipyanek, 86, died on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Newark, NJ, She grew up in East Orange and returned to reside in Newark before settling in Fords in 1976. Mrs. Lipyanek was a 1950 graduate of the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. She graduated with a B.S. in Home Economics and is now a proud alumnus. She had been employed as a buyer for Hahnes Department Store in Newark from 1950 to 1957. She then stayed home to raise her family, later returning to work as a Benefits Specialist for the former Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Co. in Newark. She is predeceased by her sister, Anne; brother, Stanley and great granddaughter, Natalya Surviving are her husband, Paul A. Lipyanek; two daughters, Diane Perez and her husband Richard of Fords and Susan Bottone and her husband Mike of Flemington; son, Paul A. Jr and his wife Donna of Pittstown; four grandchildren, Anthony and his wife Tanya, Nicholas, Joseph and fiancé Michelle & Karen and four great grandchildren, Lee, Elliott, Gabriella and Ivan. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, followed by a funeral mass at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 3-8pm in the funeral home.
