Obituary of Marion G. Robustelli

Marion G. (Nee Capua) Robustelli, 95, died on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Bridgeway Senior Healthcare in Bridgewater. Mrs. Robustelli was born August 1, 1917 in Plainfield to Pasquale and Minnie Capua and grew up in the East End of Plainfield. She resided in South Plainfield for several years and at various times also lived in California. She later resided in Piscataway before entering the Bridgeway Senior Healthcare. Mrs. Robustelli was a devoted family woman and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and close friends. She was a member of the Piscataway Senior Citizens and the Traveling Seniors of North Plainfield. She has traveled extensively through the United State and Europe. Additionally Marion was an accomplished dancer. He husband, Louis A. Robustelli, died in 1962 and she is also predeceased by her sister Elvera DeRoma and by two brothers Anthony and Michael Capua. Surviving are her children, Louis N. and Terry Robustelli of Whitehouse Station, Annette and Ronald Pesta of Hellertown, PA, Vincent and Pat Robustelli of The Villages, Florida, Frank and Celeste Robustelli of Middlesex, Maureen and Mario Abbruzzese of South Plainfield and Michael and Fame Robustelli of Vorhees, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and a sister Sophie DiTulio of Palm Coast, FL. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 9:15am in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass at 10:00am in Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 29, 2013 from 3-8pm in the funeral home.
