It is hard to believe that my brother in Christ is in Heaven with the Lord. We use to call each other brothers all the time. We use to wonder what Heaven would be like and talk about that glorious day when we would meet Jesus! Bruce is not wondering any longer... Bruce truly was a good and faithful servant of the Lord. If he was around in church and we needed help, he would always step up and volunteer. I always loved seeing Bruce and Nancy in church because they seemed like a very happy couple and enjoyed their time in church together. I remember the day Bruce asked me to help him move some boxes of baseball cards because he was afraid they were getting too heavy for their 2nd floor apartment. I came over with my minivan and we loaded box after box and took them to a large storage facility where Bruce would later often visit and go through his inventory. I was truly amazed at what a memory he had for not only baseball stats, but dates and names of stuff we did years ago. He would say to me..."do you remember this"...and I would say..."Yes" - but I really didn't remember everything that he did. He knew my birthday, he new my wedding day, he knew other things like our kids and stuff about Middlesex. I never had a friend like Bruce and I'm going to miss him. We would talk on the phone from time to time like time never passed. I have lived away from Middlesex for over ten years now and Bruce and I always kept in touch with each other. Bruce was the kind of guy that was fun to be around. I remember our last conversation right after Nancy passed away. I asked him what he was thinking about doing with himself to keep himself busy and he said that he would be volunteering, working at the church, American Legion, and other places that he had great interest in. He always wanted to give back. He was a great man, full of love for others, and never a bad word about others too! I love you my brother in Christ, I miss you and Nancy! I am so grateful and so jealous that you are in heaven with the Lord together again! I wonder if they play baseball in Heaven, Bruce!

I did so enjoy our lunch date together...about a year ago at Kerwins. Nancy was such a sweetheart and you were happy to have her at your side. I'm really sorry we were not able to get back together again. Now you are in heaven with Nancy. Rest in peace Bruce...I will think of you often.

I was so sorry to learn of the passing of both Bruce and Nancy. Bruce always had a big, welcoming smile when we shared many years at CHANEL. Many years ago, my wife and I took our young children (at the time) to see Nancy and Bruce in a holiday play at their church one evening. Good memories of good people.....I am certain they are together again in a much better place.

It is with much sadness of heart that we honor Bruce's life and his passion for story telling. His voice will be dearly missed since it was his stories that spoke of his ove of life and the people he treasured. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us Bruce. I am honored to have known you and that we reconnected after almost 40 years recently. You will be sorely missed by many. Always Saralee

The passing of my friend, Bruce, and that of his wife, Nancy, is terribly sad. In this time of grief, I wish to honor them with fond memories. Bruce and I shared many laughs and good times during our friendship. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of early rock & roll music as well as baseball trivia, particularly the NY Yankees. Besides his amazing memory for music and sports, Bruce had also been gifted with some sort of ESP, because he was the kind of friend who would always call just when you needed support or comfort from a familiar voice. And he would never miss calling to wish me a Happy Birthday. In the most endearing terms, Bruce was a character, a true original, and someone who made my life much more interesting for knowing him.

I have had the honor of knowing Bruce and his wife Nancy for over 30 yrs. They helped make the church we attended a special experience. Bruce had a great love of music which always intrigued me. He always kept the fires of friendship going. I will miss him dearly. Also, his wife. They were inseparable. They are now together with the Lord Jesus whom they loved. Thank you Bruce!

I am sorry for your loss and offer my condolences. Words cannot express the pain felt when we lose a loved one in death. I pray that you all may find the comfort you need, and find peace. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress."
