Obituary of Robert Friedmann

South Plainfield - Robert Friedmann, Jr., 32, died suddenly on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at home Born in Summit, he had resided in South Plainfield for most of his life and for a brief time in Belvidere, NJ. A graduate of South Plainfield High School Class of 2000, Rob continued his studies at the Cittone Institute where he received his Computer Science Certification. Most recently, Rob earned a HVAC Technicians Certificate from Penn & Foster Technical Institute. He was employed by FGF Heating and Cooling in South Plainfield. Rob was a member of the Belvidere Sons of the American Legion, an avid NY Yankees, NY Rangers and Indianapolis Colts Fan. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and snow boarding as well as music and played the drums. Additionally, Rob was passionate about Fantasy Football, a great cook and enjoyed hanging with family and friends. Rob will be remembered as beloved son, and dear friend to many who's passing has caused great pain. He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather; George Friedmann , maternal grandfather, Nicholas Allocco and his step brother; Paul Carino Surviving are his mother, Mary Allocco-Bickar and her husband Bruce; father, Robert Friedmann, Sr. and his wife Geri; step brothers and sister, Stefan, Shane and Samantha; maternal Grandmother, Danielle Lettieri and paternal grandmother, Josephine Friedmann. Also surviving are many loving family and devoted friends. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 7:30 pm in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Cremation will be held privately. Family and friends may attend the visitation on Sunday from 4 until the time of the service at 7:30pm In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are asked to be made to the Plainfield Humane Society, 75 Rock Avenue, Plainfield, NJ 07060.
