Obituary of Lillian J. Bell

Lillian J. Bell Lillian J. (Evans) Bell, age 75, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 13, 2011. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the celebration of her life on Sunday, September 18, 2011, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 and return again on Monday, September 19, 2011 at the New Durham Chapel, 225 New Durham Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 beginning 10:00 am with a religious service to follow at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Born in Whinton, PA, Lillianl lived in South Plainfield since 1968. When she was a teenager, Lillian became a born again Christian and enjoyed reading scripture and was known to many as a loving and giving person. She also adored her grandchildren and enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was employed for many years with Quick-Check of South Plainfield and prior to, Shop-Rite of Edison. Predeceased by her siblings, Walter, Betty and Tommy, she was the devoted wife for 49 years to Donald R. Bell. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Cheryl and Rob Bell, Elaine and JT Kurzeja, Denise and John Allen, and her son Stephen. She will be missed by her seven grandchildren, Johnny, Kristen, Kristie, Jennifer, Katelyn, Thomas and Ava, her two sisters; Maryann Hayden and Alice Marra both of PA and by many extended family and friends.
