South Plainfield - Stuart Gnapp, 75, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at home.
Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, Stu resided in Parsippany for 47 years before settling to South Plainfield.
Throughout his life, Stu owned printing businesses.
As a great athlete and avid sports fan Stu coached many kids. He enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and basketball. He continued his love of sports with the South Plainfield Senor Center's Pool League. Stu was also a member of the Parsippany Senior Center and the YMCA.
Predeceased by his wife, Barbara, he is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Parcella and husband, Robert of Hamden, CT, two sons; Mark and wife, Pam of South Plainfield and Alan and wife, Jennifer of Richmond, VA, and a brother, Lloyd and wife, Edna of Israel. He will also be missed by his five grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 11AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Family and friends may attend visitation on Friday beginning at 10AM until service time.
