Obituary of Dhanrajie Budhan

South Plainfield - Dhanrajie "Jaso" Budhan, 80 passed away suddenly, but peacefully on Sunday morning, November 10, 2013 at her home. Born in Guyana, Jaso came to the United States in 1978 and settled to South Plainfield with her family, were they all have resided for many years. Jaso was one of seven children born to the late Ramdhan and Sukrajie, she became a wife and devoted mother of nine children and nineteen grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Dhanraj, who died in 2006, surviving are nine children; Kishore and his wife Pat, Deopaul and his wife Shakti, Ramesh his wife Reshmi, Vidur and his wife Indi, Dat and her husband, Vick, Ivo and her husband, Dave, Ashmie, Ravi and his wife Ann and Rowe and her husband, Trivedi, six siblings; Reds, Rajo, Dorothy, Raywatee, Baby and Shammie. Also surviving are 19 beloved grandchildren. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 9-11AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080. Interment will follow in family plot within Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Family and friends may attend the visitation on Tuesday from 2-9 PM and Wednesday from 9-11AM in the funeral home.
