South Plainfield - Mary ( Holub ) Uknuis, 91 entered into eternal life on Saturday June, 7, 2014 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Newark to the late Anthanas and Julia Holub, Mary lived in South Plainfield for most of her life. As a young women she worked as an elevator operator at Beth Israel Hospital in Newark and later spent many years working for Tingly Rubber in South Plainfield.
She is predeceased by her husband, Edward, son Eddie, daughter in law, Frances and siblings; Nellie DiCanto, Anna Pendolino, John Holub, William Holub and Peter Holub.
Surviving are her son, Donald of Yorktown, VA., daughter in law, Hope Risoli Uknuis of South Plainfield, granddaughter, Jennifer O'Dell of Texas, grandsons; Stephen of California, Joseph of Pennsylvania, Arrian, Darius, Eric and Paul Uknuis all of South Plainfield and four great grandchildren; Tyler, Ericka, Ariana and Alondra.
Family and friends are invited to join together for visitation on Thursday, June, 12, 2014 from 5-7 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Cremation will take place privately on Friday.
