Obituary of Zoltan J. Petercsak

Zoltan J. Petercsak South Plainfield - Zoltan J. Petercsak 87, died on Friday, August 19, 2011 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Bridgeport, CT., Zoltan grew up in the Bonhamtown section of Edison and settled to South Plainfield in 1947. He worked for Lockheed Electronics in Watchung as an Experimental Machinist. A Veteran of WWII, Mr. Petercsak served with the Marines and was stationed in the Pacific and the Phillippines. Before his honorable dicharge in 1946, Mr. Petercsak achieved the rank of Sergeant. A communicant of Sacred heart RC Church in South Plainfield, Zoltan's most cherished moments were spent with his family particularly with his 2 great grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Kmosko, his s sons and their spouses; Robert Janis Petercsak of South Plainfield and Thomas and Diane Petercsak of Branchburg, his brother Elmer Petercsak and his wife Nancy of Oakhurst, his granddaughter Melanie Carballo and her husband Donald and by his 2 great grandchildren; Cassidy and Sara Carballo. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, 2011 from 2- 4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
