Obituary of Michael J. Fry

Michael J. Fry South Plainfield, NJ - Michael J. Fry, 25, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at his home down the shore. Born in Edison, Michael spent most of his life in South Plainfield. Michael was a 2004 graduate of South Plainfield High School and he furthered his education at Kean College, obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Business in 2009. He currently worked with his father as a Manager for Distribution by Air located in Somerset. He was an avid musician, having a love for music as well as sports, especially the NY Yankees and NY Knicks. Michael formerly belonged to Boy Scouts Troop 17 and the South Plainfield B.P.O.E #2298. He is predeceased by his maternal grandmother Joyce Kelliher in 2004 and his fraternal grandfather William Fry in 1999. Michael leaves behind his loving family; his parents Kenneth and Kathie Fry of South Plainfield, his sister Lauren Fry also of South Plainfield and by his maternal grandfather James Kelliher of Scotch Plains and his fraternal grandmother Catharine Fry of South Plainfield. He will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Everyone may gather to the funeral service held at the New Durham Chapel, 225 New Durham Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 on Thursday, July 14, 2011 beginning 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM and 6:00 PM-9:00 PM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make donations to, South Plainfield Ponytail Association or South Plainfield Junior Baseball.
