Hazel A. Boyer
Hazel was born on April 9, 1945, in Georgetown Guyana, the second daughter to Melania and Ulric Boyer. She was educated at Christ Church Primary School and attended Mrs. Young Commercial School in Queenstown, Georgetown. She started her business career at the Georgetown Telecommunications then migrated to the United States of America with her first son Dexter Foster in 1968 and had her second son Damian Lewis, November 9, 1976. She started her banking career at the Royal Bank of Canada in 1968 and worked as a Credit Officer until she retired in 2005. Hazel was also a certified Interior Decorator.
Hazel will forever be remembered for her kind and gentle ways, her sense of humor, her willingness to share all she had with others, and her tenderness towards all she touched. She was highly regarded and respected by her peers.
Hazel's greatest delight was traveling with her sisters, grandchildren, and her friends, which propelled her to become a travel agent with a respected travel agency. Hazel also enjoyed baking and hosting a great dinner party. Her family's favorite were her pineapple upside-down cake and brownies.
