Brick - Teresa Moreno, 74, passed away peacefully in her daughter's home on Sunday, April 19, 2015 in North Plainfield.
Born and raised in Ecuador, Teresa relocated to North Jersey with her husband, Leo, in 1971. They resided in the Central Jersey area before settling to Brick three years ago.
She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her husband, Leoncio "Leo"; daughter, Viviana Jimenez and husband, Sam of North Plainfield; son, Johnny Moreno and wife, Marissa of Brick; nine siblings, Elena, Reinaldo, Lilia, Gilma, Ramon, Lida, Marta, Margarita and Gladys and a host of extended family.
She will also be missed by her seven grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, Joey, Danny, Michael, Samuel and Victoria.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 8:45AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph's Church, at the corner of Watchung and Jackson Avenue, North Plainfield NJ 07060 at 10AM.
Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
Family and friends may attend visitation on Wednesday from 11AM - 1PM and Thursday, 4PM - 8PM in the funeral home.
