South Plainfield - Shirley Buechert, 75, passed away peacefully in her home with her children and husband by her side on Friday, September 12, 2014.
Born in Orange, Shirley grew up in West Orange and resided in Piscataway before settling to South Plainfield 46 years ago.
As stay at home mom, Shirley enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening and crocheting.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Edward; four children, Andrew and wife Ana Silvia of Manville, Brian of South Plainfield, Craig and wife Melanie of South Plainfield and Diane Pacifico and husband Douglas of Martinsville. She will also be missed by her three grandchildren, Melissa Nicole Buechert and Nicholas and Paige Pacifico.
Funeral services will begin on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 10AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080.
Entombment will follow in Holy Redeemer Mausoleum, South Plainfield.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 7-9PM in the funeral home.
