Obituary of Andrew H. Minarck

Andrew Minarck South Plainfield - Andrew H. Minarck, 91, died on Monday, February 21, 2011 at the Runnells Specialized Hospital in Berkeley Heights. Born in Bayonne, Andrew grew up and resided in Plainfield before settling in South Plainfield nearly 40 years ago. He worked for Mack Motors in Plainfield as a machine operator until he retired. During WWII, Mr. Minarck served with the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged as a Corporal in 1945. Andrew enjoyed family gatherings, the South Plainfield Community Pool and attending the South Plainfield Senior Citizens Center. He is predeceased by his parents; Andrew and Anna Minarck and his 7 brothers; George John, Frank, William, Jack, Albert and Robert. Surviving are his sister Dorothy Nace of Clinton and several special nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 25, 2011 followed by an 11:45 AM Funeral Service in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
