Mary Lizak
South Plainfield-- Mary (Kalmanir) Lizak, 92, died on Wednesday July 9, 2008 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Cairnbrook, Pa., she had resided in Brooklyn, N.Y. for 45 years before setting to South Plainfield over 40 years ago.
Mrs. Lizak had been an active and faithful communicant of Sacred Heart R.C. Church IN South Plainfield and a former member of their Altar Rosary Society.
Her husband, John F. Lizak died in 1979 and her daughter, Arlene died in December.
Surviving are her son and daughter in law, Richard & Monica Lizak. Her sisters, Helen Hancharik, Margaret Hawrylak, Catherine Stine: All of Cairnbrook, PA. Elizabeth Brzyski: Middle Village, Long Island. Agnes Taylor: Bedford, PA. And her brother: John Kalmanir: Pittsburgh, PA.
Funeral and interment services will be held privately under the direction of the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield.
