Eleanor C. Conant
South Plainfield, NJ - Eleanor C. Conant, 85, died on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville.
Born in West New York, NJ, she grew up in various town in Bergen County and resided in Metuchen before settling to South Plainfield in 1940.
Eleanor worked for Air Liquide in South Plainfield as a coated papers technician for several years before retiring in the late 1980's.
She was an active communicant of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in South Plainfield for many years.
Predeceased by two husbands, a son and her two sisters, she is survived by her daughter Joy, her son Joe and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 26, 2009 beginning at 11:00 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080
Burial will follow in the Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, January 25, 2009 from 1-4 PM
