Obituary of Robert F. Raisch

Robert F. Raisch South Plainfield - Robert F . Raisch, 79, died on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at home. Born in Newark, he was raised in Union. For 38 years Bob worked for IBM and retired as a Systems Engineer. After working for IBM he worked as Sales Associate for Weichert Realtors in Metuchen. A former member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in South Plainfield, Mr. Raisch served with the Navy during WWII. He was a member of the South Plainfield American Legion Chaumont Post 243 and the Ricochet Health and Racquet Club also in South Plainfield. Bob was an avid fisherman and enjoyed boating. Surviving are his wife of 54 years Janice (Faas), his 2 sons; Robert F. Jr. and his wife Sandra of Brick and David and his wife Barbara of Helmetta, his sister Marlene Pittman and her husband Edmund of Clinton Twp. and by his grandson Dylan Robert Raisch. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at a 11:30 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home
