Obituary of Myra Ruth Barth

Myra Barth Bethlehem, PA - Myra Ruth (Glass) Barth, 90, died on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at the LeHigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg in Bethlehem. Born in Newark, Myra was raised in Hillside. Her dear husband John C. Sr of 69 years, was career military man and they resided in various states throughout the country before finally settling in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania a few years ago. A practicing and devoted Lutheran, Mrs. Barth served as an organist in the many churches she belonged to. She was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed playing the piano. In addition, Myra, along with her husband, was an extensive traveler visiting many countries throughout the world. She is pre deceased by her son John C. Jr., her 2 sisters and 1great grandson. In addition to her husband John, surviving are her daughter Beverly Dress and her husband Philip of Macungie, Penssylvania, and her grandchildren; Donald Dress, Dawn Fritz, Lisa Ferraro and Lori Chabrak. Also surviving are her 8 great grandchildren Noah and Ryan Fritz, River and Caylee Dress, Emma and Anthony Ferraro Jr., and John and Lucy Chabrak. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2009 beginning at 12:30 PM followed by a 2:30 PM funeral service in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Cremation services will be held privately
