Obituary of Maryann Kapp

Maryann Kapp South Plainfield, NJ - Maryann (Potocki) Kapp, 90, died on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at her daughter Wilma's residence in Pemberton. Born in Passaic, Maryann has been a resident of South Plainfield since 1983. Maryann spent her time caring for her family as a homemaker. She enjoyed using her talented hands as a seamstress, a cook, baker and upholstering. She was a very active member of the boy scouts at Camp Aheka in Towaco. Maryann belonged to the First Baptist Church of Highland Park and was head of their senior citizens club. She is predeceased by her husband Henry, by her son Herbert and by five siblings. Maryann leaves behind her children; Wilma Zane (Paul) of Pemberton, Linda Rockefeller (Glen) of Pulaski, NY and Timothy Kapp of South Plainfield. She will be missed by her six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and by her brother Andrew Polick of Paterson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2010 beginning 11:00 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by burial in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 4-7 PM.
