Phyllis May Joyce
Edison, NJ - Phyllis May Joyce, 81, died on Monday, May 17, 2010 at her residence with her friend Jean by her side.
Born in Arlington, MA she lived in Brooklyn while growing up, spent forty years in Somerville and the last few years in Edison.
She retired many years ago from the Bridgewater-Raritan School District where she was an English Educator. She loved to read, play jeopardy and her cat Sam meant the world to her. She will be remembered as a kind, gentle sweet person.
She leaves behind her dear friend Jean Jones and her husband Kenneth of Scotch Plains and by their grandchildren; Kenneth and Jason, which Phyllis considered them her own.
Private Services were held by McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
