Obituary of Allan A. Provaire

Allan A. Provaire South Plainfield - Allan A. Provaire, 66, died on Monday, May 19, 2008 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Born in Ludina, Russia, Allan was raised in Belgium. In the late 1950's he arrived to the United States residing in South River and graduated from South River High School in 1962. Prior to his settling in South Plainfield in 1978, Allan lived in Patterson for a short time. He served with the U.S. Army during Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1968. For 20 years he worked as computer systems program manager for Jay Door Corp. in Millburn and most recently worked as a computer consultant with Ascap in New York City. An avid reader his main interest were various types of airplanes. He is pre-deceased by his brother Walter who died in 2001. Surviving are his loving wife Carol (Kappeler) and his 2 daughters; Michelle Provaire of South Plainfield and Allison Provaire of Boston. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday evening, May 22, 2008 at 8:30 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm in the funeral home. Cremation is private.
