Obituary of Anne E Hennerty

Anne E. Hennerty South Plainfield, NJ - Anne E. Hennerty, 79, died on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Haven Hospice located within JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Newark, NJ on August 11, 1931, she lived in Guttenberg until 1956, North Bergen for a brief time and in 1958 she settled in South Plainfield. In 1948, she graduated from Memorial High and then furthered her education at the Washington School for Secretaries. She worked as a secretary at Frank & Son Co. in NY, NY until moving to South Plainfield. She spent most of her time caring for her family as a homemaker. Anne was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield and was active in the S.P. High School Music Boosters, handling fund-raising efforts. She was an avid Rutgers Football fan and she vacationed for many years with her family in Treasure Island, FL. She is predeceased by her parents; Anton and Anna (Zvac) Hrusovsky as well as her sister Margit Marrone. Anne leaves behind her devoted husband of fifty-four years, John "Jack" Hennerty and her loving daughter Suzanne Hennerty of Piscataway as well as her dear niece, Michelle Loeb and her husband Andy of Rego Park, Queens, NY. She is also survived by several cousins in Bratislava, Slovakia. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011 beginning 9:15 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery in Union. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 2-6pm.
