John E. Goglas
South Plainfield - John E. Goglas, 69, died at home on August 19, 2007.
Born Piscataway, John lived in South Plainfield for many years.
He worked at Verizon in Newark for 31 years retiring as a Plant Engineer in 1988. He was a member of the Middlesex Elks and was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers in Newark.
He is pre-deceased by his wife Nancy J. who died in 2003.
Surviving are his 3 daughters; Debra Brewer and her husband Lenny of Piscataway, Nancy Chinery of Browns Mills, and Susan Knowles of Piscataway, his brother Walter of Port Reading and by his 8 grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 25, 2007 at 11:30 AM in the McCriskin Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield.
Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home
