Obituary of Eugene A. Gaiser

Eugene A. Gaiser "Gene" Loving Pop-Pop South Plainfield - Eugene "Gene" A. Gaiser, 69, died suddenly on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at his residence. Born in Brooklyn, he had resided in Union where he graduated from Union High School and later graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor's degree. He continued to pursue his education by working towards earning a Masters degree in Business Administration from Seton Hall University. Residing in South Plainfield and Califon, he moved to Stuart, FL for several years before returning back to New Jersey in 2002. Gene was honorably discharged in January 1967 from the United States Army Reserves after serving from 1963-1966. He was employed as a Sales Rep for Fenix Investment & Development, Inc. of Morristown. Prior to, he was part owner of McCarthy & Associates, an employment & staffing company of Parlin. He has also worked for Siemens' Corp. and Equitable Financial both located in Edison. While residing in Florida, Gene was active in the Rotary Club and the local chapter of the ARC. He is survived by his daughter Laura Gaiser Richardson of Jackson, his wife Gail of South Plainfield and by his sister Gloria Bono of Florida. He will be missed dearly by his cherished grandchildren Erika and Nicholas Richardson They were the reason he woke up everyday, beloved Pop-Pop; always there to play, teach and laugh. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 beginning 1:30 PM at his residence. Arrangements are under the direction of the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals. Donations may be made in Eugene's name to his grandchildren who meant the world to him.
