Obituary of Claire L. Sterrett

Claire L. Sterrett South Plainfield - Claire L. Sterrett, 84, passed away early Saturday morning April 17, 2010 at her daughter's home in Little Egg Harbor. Born in Norwich Connecticut, Claire had resided in Hartford, Ct., Newark and Iselin prior to residing in South Plainfield for over 20 year before recently moving to Little Egg Harbor. She is a member of the Piscataway American Legion Post # 261 Ladies Auxiliary. Claire is a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is pre-deceased by her son, Francis T. Crane and two sisters; Shirley Winters and Winifred Gormley. Surviving are 3 daughters; Renee Daubert and her husband, Frank Jr. of South Plainfield, Robin Schostkewitz and her husband, David of Holland Twp. and Bernadette Nino and her husband, Michael of Little Egg Harbor, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield . Entombment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm in the funeral home.
