Marion J. Warren
Somerset, NJ - Marion J. (Madsen) Warren, 95, died on Monday, October 5, 2009 at the Spring Hills Assisted Living in Somerset, NJ.
Born in Plainfield, Marion lived in Elizabeth for most of her life prior to moving to Somerset 14 months ago.
For 25 years, Marion worked at the Union County Savings Bank in Elizabeth and retired as an Assistant Manager 30 years ago. She was a life long member of the Epworth Methodist Church in Elizabeth where she was very active with many church activities and functions.
She was an auxiliary board member of Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, Marion was also a charter member of AARP in Kenilworth. She enjoyed reading and traveling but more importantly she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is pre deceased by her sister Evelyn Quinn and by her 2 brothers; Andrew and Harvey Madsen.
Surviving are her daughter Carol Trexler of South Plainfield her sister Mildred Allcroft of California and her grandchildren; Karin Trexler of Alpharetta, GA., David Trexler and his wife Amanda of Waltham, Mass., and Kathleen McCain and her husband Doug of Piscataway. Marion is also survived by her great-grandchildren Grace and Harrison Trexler and Brennan McCain.
Funeral and cremation services are private and under the direction of the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 . A memorial service will follow at a later date.
