Obituary of Ann M. Spock

Ann Marie Spock South Plainfield - Ann Marie Spock, died on Monday, July 28, 2008 in the Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison due to complications of pulmonary disease She was born in Plainfield on July 23, 1920 to Fred and Mary Burton and resided in South Plainfield since her marriage in 1954 to the late Alexander Spock. Ann enjoyed traveling with her late beloved companion Mike Siwiec to Atlantic City, Aruba, and taking cruises through the Carribean. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church in South Plainfield and was passionate about her dear friends, family, neighbors, the NJ Lottery and all the finer things in life. In addition to her husband Alexander and her companion Mike, Ann is pre-deceased by her brother Richard Burton. She is survived by her only child Candice Spock and her partner Denise Rozell of Kensington, MD and her sister Irene Kolenski of Piscataway. In her later years, Ann was lovingly supported by her special friends and caregivers; Michele Siwiec, Gert Mularz, Ann Venitelli, Frannie Majeski and Karen Haley. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
